Moving from Eclipse IDE to vs code was quite some to me. Eclipse and force.com addon on it has been the first thing I installed on every computer I used.
I am now amazed at the versatility of the VS Code and rich extensions.
I was working on a POC cross-cloud project.
I was changing technology and with every technology VS, code and Git were supporting me with easy features and extension.
The transition was smooth and supported and the system worked as I expected.
very impressed by VS code. I had used it before but not so much.
On the way found two cool extensions,
VS code - Spotify: This lets me change the music when I was developing without leaving IDE.
2. Snake and Ladder: This extension gives you much need distraction during long hours of coding. used it quite some time during breaks.
Initially, I thought it would be quite hectic, but with good tools, things just fall in place :-)
